Can you think of another word best fits after the work PINK?
We can’t, so we’ll just go with FLOYD.
Pink Floyd was an English progressive/psychedelic rock band that made the rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1996. But it wasn’t in the 90’s when they first played as a band.
The band began in 1965 and eventually signed with EMI records.
Their great single “Money” came off their 1973’s album The Dark Side of the Moon.

“Horses” by Pang Attack (Dreamer’s Drug EP)
Alice, let’s go walking in the woods,
No more lying down with fevers in the day
I don’t know what’s wrong
But there’s some complicated forces
Here at work
Burning all your books and you’re relieved
I heard that somehow you’d forgotten
How to readThe symbols burnt your eyes
And you said “Now, for sure that’s it
That’s my demise”
Oh. Oh oh.
That day you got undressed
On the bridge and you were drunk
And headed west
Up in the Laurentians we had been
Some kind of fierce hallucination
So it seemed
Death won’t be your end
You’ll be a hologram inside
Some poor kid’s head
If you rise
You better not anger
The Night
Walking side by side, Saint Stephen’s Wood
We’ve been dreaming ‘bout this moment
Now since god-knows-when
Too many nights to break our will
Our dreams are filled now with the sound
of the coming horses.

“All our times have come,
Here but now they’re gone.
Seasons don’t fear the reaper,
Nor do the wind, the sun or the rain…
We can be like they are.”
Okay, if you can recognize these lyrics you are just plain out awesome…
And if you can’t it’s alright we still love you.
These are lyrics from our Throw-Back artist of the week, Blue Oyster Cult’s “Don’t Fear The Reaper”!!!
Blue Oyster Cult began way back in 1967 with a slightly differently name— Soft White Underbelly. They eventually signed on with Columbia records after great-ears, Clive Davis hear their tracks.
These New Yorkers sold over 24 million records all around the world…with the name change, of course. :P
Thanks to Tim Piles on KBZT 94.9 FM for playing Pang Attack’s Dreamer’s Drug!!!
The band gets exposure for Dreamer’s Drugs EP on IndescentExposure[dot]net.
